About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Warrington Borough Council. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security, maintenance, and upkeep of our school premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head Teacher and School Business Manager, you will be responsible for the security of the premises and its contents, including being the registered key holder.
- You will be responsible for lighting, heating, and cleaning of premises, as well as porterage and handyperson duties.
- You will also be responsible for other duties arising from the use of the premises.
Requirements
- Experience of building work, joinery, and/or previous caretaking/maintenance officer/site experience would be an advantage.
- A sense of humour and the ability to liaise with teaching staff pleasantly are also valued.
- You will be required to undertake first aid training and be a registered first aider for the school.
