About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Paediatrics team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a new pathway for ASD, working closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and families to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and co-ordinate the systematic provision of a diagnostic service for ASD
- Work with the team to develop informed care pathways and provide individual assessment, formulation, and brief intervention to children and young people
- Link up with other services and offer effective signposting to enhance the children's and young people's journey
Person Specification
- Entry-level qualification in Applied Psychology (professional Doctorate, or combination of MSc plus PG Diploma level additional training) that has been accepted by the HCPC for purposes of professional registration
- Additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent), OR a combination of specialist short courses, or an evidenced portfolio of supervised practice-based learning in a specialist area of clinical practice, assessed by an experienced clinical supervisor to be of equal level to a Postgraduate Diploma
