Divisional Overview

Goldman Sachs' Global Investment Research division provides in-depth analysis and recommendations to clients across various asset classes. Our team of experts generates fundamental research and analysis to help clients make informed investment decisions.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled analyst to join our Europe Economics team in London. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with our chief Europe economist and other economists to:

  • Analyze and interpret high-frequency economic data releases
  • Develop and maintain proprietary economic indicators and forecasting models
  • Contribute to economic research projects and publications
  • Publish research pieces on macroeconomic topics
  • Collaborate with sales, trading, and investment banking teams to provide insights and analysis
Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong interest in macroeconomics and a Master's degree in Economics
  • Excellent analytical and statistical skills, with experience in econometrics
  • Strong computer programming skills and proficiency in statistical software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
