Global Investment Researcher

As a key member of the Europe Portfolio Strategy team and Asset Allocation Strategy team at Goldman Sachs, the Global Investment Researcher plays a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data related to asset markets, including equities, economic, and political events. The successful candidate will be responsible for presenting data and conclusions in a clear and efficient manner, collaborating with macro and single-stock groups within research, and communicating with the Equities and FICC sales force/traders and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and economic data to inform investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales force, traders, and external clients.
- Collaborate with research teams to identify investment opportunities and develop research reports.
- Present research findings and recommendations to senior management and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, economics, or mathematics.
- Proven experience in investment research, analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical software, such as Python or R.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced investment research environment.
- Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
