Global Investment Researcher

Join Goldman Sachs, a leading global investment banking, securities and investment management firm, as a Global Investment Researcher. In this role, you will be part of a team that develops global client-focused research in economics, portfolio strategy, derivatives and equity and credit securities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of industries, companies and economies to identify game-changing insights.
  • Develop and maintain financial models using advanced Excel to support investment strategies.
  • Prepare pre-results and post-results updates on companies, including auditing company and industry data and statistics.
  • Assist in the compilation and writing of thematic sector and company research reports and investment recommendations for clients.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external clients, including company Investor Relations departments.
Requirements
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and technical skills, with experience in Excel and working with financial models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior analysts and clients.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent academic background, with a degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics or business.
