Global Investment Researcher - London

As a key member of the Europe Portfolio Strategy team and Asset Allocation Strategy team, the successful candidate will assist in analyzing and interpreting large amounts of data related to asset markets, including equities, economic and political events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statistical analysis and experience with Python is preferred. Additionally, proficiency in the use of external databases, including Bloomberg, Reuters, CEIC, DataStream, FactSet, and Haver, is a plus.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with macro and single-stock groups within research to develop and present data-driven insights.
  2. Communicate effectively with the Equities and FICC sales force/traders and external clients to provide market analysis and recommendations.
  3. Work closely with the Senior Portfolio Strategists to develop and implement investment strategies.
  4. Conduct research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Math, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in European markets.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Python and statistical analysis software.
  2. Proficiency in the use of external databases, including Bloomberg, Reuters, CEIC, DataStream, FactSet, and Haver.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
