Job Title: Neonatal Unit Nurse Staffing E-Roster Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced E-Roster Coordinator to join our Neonatal Unit team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of the staffing e-roster, ensuring that any gaps within the roster are filled with the right staff, at the right time.

The Neonatal Unit at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is a leading provider of neonatal care, with a reputation for excellence and innovation. As an E-Roster Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our staff are deployed effectively, and that our patients receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the staffing e-roster, ensuring that any gaps are filled with the right staff, at the right time.
  • Review the rota for gaps, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure that our staff are deployed effectively.
  • Assist in project work, as directed, including data collection, reporting, and document production.
  • Maintain data protection, GDPR, and patient confidentiality.
  • Ensure that weekly bank shifts are authorised and locked on a Monday morning before 10am.
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced E-Roster Coordinator who has a strong understanding of the neonatal unit and its operations. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
