Key Job Requirements

We are seeking an accomplished Deputy Manager to lead our efforts in providing exceptional care and education services at Horizon Care and Education's homes in the West Midlands.

This critical role involves upholding our organization's values, promoting growth, and fostering a positive change within our communities.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Residential Manager to ensure our homes align with our mission and values.
  • Guide and mentor staff members, enhancing their skills and contributing to their personal development.
  • Oversee personnel management functions, such as appraisals, supervisions, and adherence to training procedures.
  • Evaluate and implement effective health and safety measures and risk assessments.
  • Deliver prudent financial management of the home, focusing on efficiency and responsible resource allocation.
  • Maintain optimal environmental conditions within the home.
  • Achieve and sustain the highest quality assurance standards.

The successful candidate must possess a Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce qualification and have a background of at least one year in Senior Support Work in a similar setting. Annual Salary Range

The expected salary for this position is £42,000-£52,000 per annum, considering industry norms and regional factors.
