About the Role

Procure Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the branch team, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the branch in the absence of the Depot Manager, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Take ownership of the operational running of the depot, including sales and customer account development.
  • Lead and motivate the branch team, providing guidance and support to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Assist in supplier agreements and negotiations at the branch level.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service, address customer concerns, and build strong relationships with key customers.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales and/or operational role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with internet/online trading and CRM software.
  • Commercial awareness, business acumen, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence to motivate a team, manage under pressure, and problem-solve.
  • Proactivity, customer focus, and a willingness to travel occasionally for meetings and training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
