Warehouse Operations Manager

You'll be paid a salary of up to £29,000 per annum, plus a 15% night shift allowance. You'll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities:As a Warehouse First Line Manager at GXO Logistics, Inc., you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the warehouse in your area. You'll lead, motivate, and develop your team to achieve challenging targets. You'll ensure resource planning is effectively carried out to optimise resource and efficiencies. With a good understanding of Health & Safety, you'll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings. You'll effectively communicate with all stakeholders to fully understand our customer and company requirements, incorporating them into all planning and reporting tools, activities, and projects.
Requirements:To succeed at GXO, you'll need a proven track record at team leader level within a fast-paced warehouse environment. You'll need to effectively lead, develop, and manage a team, while identifying areas for development and recognising success. You'll require excellent people skills, as our people are what keep our wheels turning and we're extremely proud of our superior workforce. You'll also need the ability to investigate and report findings, engaging with all levels within the site.
