About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Dental Receptionist to join our team at Portman Dentex. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our dental practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and welcoming environment for patients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and communication with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process patient payments, handle insurance claims, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven front-of-house experience in a dental or healthcare setting (ideally).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
