Payroll Specialist

This role is a part-time payroll administrator position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As a Part-Time Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for accurately processing monthly payroll for approximately 1300 employees (UK and ROI), ensuring timely and correct payments through to BACS submission.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess experience with Resourcelink software and be capable of supporting some basic system changes in line with payroll processing. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Paying employees on time and accurately.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring all payroll activities comply with relevant laws and regulations, including tax obligations and statutory deductions.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information pertaining to payroll.
- Generating and distributing payroll reports to management and other stakeholders as needed.
- Addressing and resolving payroll discrepancies and employee queries promptly and accurately liaising with colleagues to ensure that they receive a great service.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of payroll and prior experience of working with Zellis payroll software is preferable. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for this role, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently is also essential.
