Key Responsibilities- Process and manage payroll for our diverse workforce in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records related to payroll, benefits, and deductions
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll issues
- Prepare payroll reports and assist with payroll-related audits
- Ideally have ADP, IHCM2 experience
- Prior experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar payroll management role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry
- Experience with HR duties
- Proficiency in payroll software and strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and employment laws
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical calculations
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees and resolve payroll-related inquiries or issues
- Strong organisational and time management skills, able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good working knowledge of PAYE, SSP, SMP, and SPP
- Good understanding of HMRC and legal requirements affecting payroll
- Responsible for ensuring Food Safety, Quality, GMP, Health and Safety and Hygiene compliance at all times
We offer a competitive salary package of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment where your expertise will be valued.
