Talk is a leading destination for opinion and expert insight on news and current affairs in the UK. As a Multicam Operator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality visual output for the station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vision mixing in a live broadcast environment
  • Visual content creation and project management
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of visual elements
  • Collaborating with the Visual News Producer/Editor and grabbing assets from folders
  • Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring compliance with Ofcom and reporting restrictions
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance the visualisation of Talk and implementing new ideas
  • Reporting technical issues and maintaining the efficiency of Mulicam's systems

Requirements

  • A passion for radio production and an ear for great audio
  • A creative mind and ability to think differently about new concepts for radio and visualisation
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the current news environment
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work quickly in small teams
  • Understanding of relevant compliance and legal issues
