Job Description

Page Executive is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our commercial strategy and operations in the UK market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling into the top 4 UK grocery multiples, discounters, and drug store chains.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve growth targets within the personal care category.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including the top 4 grocery multiples, discounters, and drug store chains.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, ensuring increased market share and brand presence.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, development, and performance management to achieve team goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to align sales objectives with business priorities.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to optimise sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for the senior leadership team.
  • Support the long-term strategic planning process, contributing insights and recommendations for the business's growth and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, specifically within the personal or home care products industry.
  • Strong track record of selling into the top 4 UK grocery multiples, discounters, and drug store chains.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build, inspire, and lead high-performing teams.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of managing day-to-day operations while driving long-term growth.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in managing P&L and an understanding of the commercial aspects of business operations.
