Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team in a luxury 4-star hotel in Windsor. As an Executive Chef Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the kitchen, preparing and cooking dishes for the hotel's main restaurant, lounge bar, and banqueting departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a 4/5-star hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Local to Windsor or willing to relocate.
