Resident Support Specialist: Providing Personalised Care and Companionship

About the Role:

As a Resident Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, personalised care and companionship to our residents.

">

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with our residents, understanding their unique needs and preferences, and tailoring your support to meet those needs.

">

You will work closely with the care team to create comprehensive care plans, monitor resident's physical and emotional well-being, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Providing direct care and companionship to residents, promoting independence and dignity">
  • Working closely with the care team to create and implement individualised care plans">
  • Monitoring and recording resident's physical and emotional well-being">
  • Managing routine medication processes and supervising the care team">
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to NMC guidelines and legislation">
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to the care team">
  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment for our residents and their families">
  • Demonstrating and leading KYN values, promoting a positive and supportive culture">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • We are seeking a registered nurse (RMN/RNLD) with a valid PIN and experience working in a health and social care setting.">
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of professional standards is essential, as well as expertise in administering and recording medication.">
  • You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.">
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.">
  • Familiarity with safeguarding adults at risk policies and procedures is desirable.">
  • A competitive salary of £35,000 - £43,000 per annum is offered, along with 33 days annual leave, NMC revalidation cost covered, and bespoke company induction and ongoing training programs.">
