We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of the nursery, including staffing levels and provision of resources.
- Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and other legal/statutory frameworks.
- Lead and implement policies and procedures to ensure a safe and stimulating environment for children and staff.
- Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to achieve the aims and objectives of the nursery.
- Develop and maintain staff awareness of statutory requirements and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification.
- Demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with children.
- Experience of implementing EYFS and knowledge of relevant legislation.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Good understanding of Safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
