**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Companion Caregiver to join our team at Home Instead. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

**Responsibilities**

As a Home Companion Caregiver, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes. This will include assisting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and develop personalized care plans to meet their requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of client care and communicating effectively with our office team.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a genuine interest in working with older adults. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift 25 pounds, as some clients may require assistance with mobility and transfers.

A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are also required, as you will be expected to transport clients to appointments and other activities.

**Salary and Benefits**

The salary for this position is £12.85 per hour on weekdays and £13.50 per hour on weekends, with enhanced rates of pay on Bank Holidays. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid training and ongoing learning and development opportunities, as well as access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
