About the Role:

The Sales Engineer at SAACKE plays a vital role in bridging the gap between technical product knowledge and customer needs. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, communication skills, and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge:
    • Develop in-depth understanding of SAACKE's products and services.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
  2. Customer Engagement:
    • Engage with potential customers to understand their technical requirements and challenges.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  3. Technical Support:
    • Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise to customers.
    • Assist customers in understanding the technical aspects, features, and benefits of SAACKE's products.
  4. Solution Design:
    • Work with customers to design solutions that meet their specific requirements.
    • Collaborate with the engineering or development team to customize products if necessary.
  5. Proposal and Quotation Preparation:
    • Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
    • Ensure that proposals align with customer needs and expectations.
  6. Sales Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and qualify leads.
    • Participate in customer meetings alongside the sales representatives.
  7. Documentation:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and product datasheets.
  8. Feedback Loop:
    • Gather feedback from customers and share insights with the product development team for continuous improvement.
  9. Post-Sales Support:
    • Assist in post-sales activities such as installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
    • Act as a liaison between the customer and the technical support team.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAACKE's products or services, including their features, capabilities, and technical specifications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
