Hotel Sous Chef Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a luxurious environment with a strong focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, including menu planning and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of junior chefs and provide guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to develop and implement new menu concepts and promotions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a 2 AA Rosette or higher establishment.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior chefs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external partners.
