Tokamak Ex-Vessel Decommissioning Lead Engineer
UK Atomic Energy Authority seeks a highly skilled professional to lead the safe decommissioning of the JET facility and non-active systems. As Tokamak Ex-Vessel Decommissioning Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical knowledge and leadership for this critical project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficient leadership of a team of multidisciplinary engineers.
  • Defining and implementing the technical strategy for J1 conventional deplant activities.
  • Leading development of new capabilities required to complete JET decommissioning.

Requirements:
  • A track record of delivering successful innovation in the nuclear industry.
  • Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or other suitable technical discipline.
  • Proven experience of management and design of technical plant or process facilities.

Salary:£67,023 (inclusive of MPP) + excellent benefits including outstanding pension, corporate bonus scheme up to 7%, relocation allowance, flexible working options, employee assistance programme, generous annual leave allowance, career development opportunities, and vibrant culture committed to equality and inclusion.
