Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Searchability NS&D Ltd. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting design investigations and formulating technical solutions for a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage manufacturing non-conformance, ensuring that all design, airworthiness, and safety requirements are met.
  • Liaise with other functions to ensure a fully integrated design solution.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide reactive and proactive 'lineside' build support and act as the focal point.
  • Conduct root cause analysis investigations into abnormalities arising from design queries.

Requirements:

  • Ability to use CATIA V5.
  • Experience identifying risks/opportunities.
  • Currently or previously held an Industry recognised design signatory delegation (Design Approval or Design Authorisation) is desired, but not essential to apply.
  • The ability to go through a BPSS check.
