We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our research and clinical teams at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in paediatric care and research experience, with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our paediatric research portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Support research patients throughout the research process, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.
- Perform study-related procedures, including participant assessment, informed consent, clinical examinations, and reporting adverse events.
- Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to identify new research opportunities, coordinate, and manage clinical trials.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of research projects.
- Relevant experience in a Paediatric setting.
- Knowledge of clinical research and research governance.
- Current NMC registration and RN Children's Nurse Level 1 qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload.
