Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and support the company's sustainability goals.
  • Design and implement policies, standards, and guidelines for EHS-related topics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage regional or local EHS management systems, coordinating audits, analyses, and documentation of findings.
  • Provide expert advice on EHS-related matters and support the implementation of sustainable processes and products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and associations to ensure operational compliance and effective communication.

Qualifications

  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) qualification.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (required); NEBOSH Fire Certificate and Diploma (desired).
  • Experience with manual handling assessments and knowledge of HSE ART Tool.
  • Background in medium to high-volume manufacturing or engineering environments.
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience required for competent performance.
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet personal targets, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to customer service.
  • Awareness of company-wide issues and relevant legislation, with a commitment to staying informed of changes.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and produce accurate documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as SAP.
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to collaborate as part of a team.
