Job Title: Academy Site Operations Manager

We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy individual to join our team as an Academy Site Operations Manager in Burnley. The ideal candidate will have experience in site maintenance, security, and caretaking duties.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for locking and unlocking the school site, ensuring the safety and security of the premises.
  • Acting as a keyholder and ensuring the security of the premises is paramount.
  • The role requires performing general grounds maintenance tasks, including litter picking, grass cutting, and tidying outdoor areas.
  • Caretaking duties such as cleaning and basic repairs are also essential.
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times is crucial.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of reliability and trustworthiness, particularly in roles involving keyholding and site security.
  • Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to site maintenance.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
Estimated Salary

£12.00 - £15.00 per hour (dependent on experience).
