Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Quality professional to join our team at MEICA Technical Services Ltd. Based in Witney, Oxfordshire, our company specializes in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation for heavy industrial projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Director to develop and implement our QHSE strategy across the company. This role involves utilizing knowledge gained from internal training programmes alongside existing industry experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who wants to develop their Health and Safety career in a fast-paced environment. The position is part-time (3 days per week) in our Witney office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and investigation of all accidents/incidents and near misses.
  • Monitoring and maintenance of all sub-contractor documentation to ensure it is valid and up-to-date.
  • Monitoring employees' submission and completion of H&S records.
  • Updating and maintaining legal register database.
  • Carrying out site H&S audit/inspections with the support of the Operations Director.
  • Development and delivery of training/toolbox talks to site crew and employees.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience within a Quality, Health and Safety role (Construction industry preferred).
  2. Demonstrable desire to learn and improve (further training and development opportunities will be given).
  3. Auditing and inspection experience (Preferred).
  4. Keen interest in Health, Safety and Environmental issues.
Estimated Salary:

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
