About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Producer to join our team at Jagex Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our new game project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own key areas of delivery for the game through all phases of production
  • Partner closely with the Senior Producer, Development Director, and the entire Production team to deliver short and long-term development and roadmap objectives
  • Work with the Leads & Directors to understand the expectations for the quality and functionality of design, technical, and content features
  • Be the first line of contact for day-to-day development within your areas of responsibility
  • Monitor progress within your teams, providing regular reporting on accomplishments, development status, issues, and risks for your assigned areas
  • Proactively identify and solve problems to ensure the smooth running of the teams, escalating as needed
  • Drive necessary conversations between teams to tackle blockers, dependencies, and shared areas of responsibility
  • Exemplify best practices within the project in line with the defined processes
  • Create good working relationships, helping foster cross-team communication
  • Conduct regular, effective retrospectives and post-mortem reviews with the development teams
Requirements
  • Shipped one or more games as a Producer or higher level
  • Understanding of game development processes and product direction
  • Strong analytical mind with excellent people and communication skills
  • A great communicator that understands what is working, what is of concern, and what needs to be improved
  • Experience managing large projects with Agile or hybrid project management principles and practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with JIRA, Shotgun, or similar project tracking software is essential
  • Avid gamer is a plus, with a passion for creating innovative and compelling new games
