**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Youth Worker to join our team at Colchester United. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children, young people, and adults in our community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality mentoring sessions, creating engaging content for mentors, and supporting various health and inclusion programs. If you have experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role, and possess strong communication and rapport-building skills, we would love to hear from you

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality 1-2-1 and small group mentoring sessions
  • Create engaging content for mentors to deliver
  • Support CUCF in managing relationships with schools, community organisations, and external partners
  • Help CUCF secure resources and funding opportunities for future program development

About You:

  • You will require a Youth Mental Health First Aider qualification or be willing to complete one
  • Experience in youth work, mentoring, or a similar role within education or community settings
  • Strong communication and rapport-building skills
  • A willingness to undertake a CUFC Enhanced DBS Check and hold a Full UK Driving License
