Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our Paediatric Critical Care Service at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. As a Clinical Fellow, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our team.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical duties on PICU, as well as potentially in paediatric high dependency and the regional transport service. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients and their families.

Person SpecificationKnowledge and Experience
  1. Completion of Core training (minimum 2 years) in base specialty
  2. Previous experience in either Paediatrics, Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, Paediatric Surgery or Emergency Medicine
Skills and Abilities
  1. Good communication skills with colleagues and families
  2. Ability to cope with stressful situations and maintain good relations with medical and nursing colleagues
  3. Ability to work in a multi-professional team
  4. Ability to fit in with shift-based working system
Qualifications and Training
  1. Medical Degree
  2. GMC Full Registration
  3. First part of Postgraduate medical qualifications e.g. MRCPCH, FRCA, FRCS or equivalent if non-UK trained
