Clinical Fellow (ST3+) in Paediatric Surgery and Urology

The Department of Paediatric Surgery and Urology at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior clinical fellow (ST3+) to join our team for a 1-year period from April 2025.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care to children admitted to the Children's hospital, including general surgery, oncological and gastrointestinal surgery, and urology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a non-resident standard on-call rota with 8 other ST3+ trainees.
  • Work in cooperation with neonatologists to provide surgical care to infants undergoing surgery.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior staff and medical students.

As a senior clinical fellow, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, developing your clinical skills and expertise in paediatric surgery and urology.
