Nurse Specialist in Colorectal Care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and qualified nurse to join the colorectal team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will provide specialist nursing support to patients with colorectal cancers, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver seamless care.

The successful candidate will be mentored and supported by experienced nurses, carrying a supervised caseload to provide expert advice and support to patients and their families. They will contribute to improving clinical practice, enhancing service provision, and streamlining patient-focused care.

As a member of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will liaise with services within the trust and other key partners to ensure quality service provision. They will also participate in leadership and improvement training programs, equipping them with the skills to champion quality improvement and lead change initiatives.
