We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ward Team at The Cherwell Hospital in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care while ensuring patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality. You will work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to the development of the ward.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Work effectively in a team environment to achieve clinical and operational goals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to the development of the ward, including quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills
Requirements
- Registered nursing qualification or equivalent
- Registered with the NMC
- Experience of working as a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse in a ward department
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Evidence of continued development (essential)
