Support Worker

This vacancy requires a dedicated and caring individual to support Shannon, a young woman with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome and Global Developmental Delay. The successful candidate will assist Shannon in her daily life, enabling her to engage in her favourite activities such as singing, dancing, and watching children's films.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and understanding of individuals with disabilities. They will be responsible for accompanying Shannon to various outings, including the cinema, park, and McDonald's, while ensuring her safety at all times.
To succeed in this role, you will need a driving licence and access to a vehicle. Mileage expenses will be reimbursed. Please note that this is a crucial requirement, as Shannon relies on her PA for transportation.
