Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £33,549 to £39,880 plus an annually reviewed Market Rate Supplement of £1,500 for Level 3 Social Workers and Senior Practitioners.

In this role as a Care Manager, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and their families, identifying appropriate social work interventions, planning, prioritizing, and evaluating. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your expertise in child protection and family support.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to safeguarding children and promoting their welfare. They will have experience working in a social care setting and possess up-to-date knowledge of relevant trends, policies, regulations, and safeguarding practices. Proactive use of supervision is also essential to reflect critically on practice, explore different approaches, and understand the boundaries of professional accountability. Additionally, willingness to work towards Practice Educator Level 1 or 2 or already having a Practice Educator qualification is highly desirable.
