About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Estimator to join our Main contracts sales and estimating team. As a Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating new large projects in London, including office/commercial developments, infrastructure, and data centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and responding to customer enquiries, including updating our CRM system.
  • Developing technical specifications and proposals based on customer deadlines.
  • Producing accurate quotations by reviewing customer specifications, drawings, bills of quantities, and other project documentation.
  • Liaising with design engineers, project management team, and leadership to gain technical input into the quotation.
  • Analysing risk associated with financial and technical elements of the project.
  • Submitting quotations to customers and progressing them to obtain client feedback and prepare win/loss key performance indicators and lessons learnt.
  • Interacting with customers to further client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • A genuine interest in the Sprinkler/Fire Protection industry.
  • Previous experience in the Sprinkler/Fire Protection/Construction/Building Services/FM industries would be an advantage.
  • A natural appetite for sales/estimating and willingness to develop yourself into a highly competent estimator.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.
  • Proven IT skills with experience of MS office packages.
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously as well as an effective team player.
  • Positive interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Naturally comfortable with working with numbers and data.
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities.
