Endoscopy Unit Nurse

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Band 6 Junior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at the Royal London Hospital Endoscopy Unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with procedures, and working collaboratively with a large multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, holistic patient care to all patients attending the endoscopy unit.
- Assist with endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, bronchoscopy, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound.
- Supervise and coordinate the unit, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with the clinical governance group to ensure adherence to best practices and policies.

Requirements- Registered Nurse with at least 2 years' experience in endoscopy-related practice.
- Knowledge of current and emerging NHS strategy and policy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in managing endoscopy lists and coordinating unit activities.
