Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer - CAD Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Draken Europe. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components for our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for our aircraft
  • Conduct engineering studies and investigations to identify design improvements
  • Prepare reports and documentation for design reviews and certification
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets requirements and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other departments as needed
Requirements:
  • Degree or HND/HNC or OND/ONC or equivalent in mechanical or aerospace engineering
  • 5 years related industrial experience or equivalent
  • Clear understanding of aircraft component and/or system design requirements, materials and manufacturing processes
  • Able to produce calculations in support of design activities
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements
