Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:

Britlift, a leader in custom lifting equipment, seeks a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative lifting solutions for diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design custom lifting solutions using 2D and 3D CAD models and drawing packs.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manage production to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of structural and mechanical standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in lifting equipment design.
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Design Engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in lifting equipment design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • Experience with SolidWorks FEA.
  • Familiarity with lifting equipment design and structural or mechanical standards.
