Job Title: Cancer Nurse Specialist
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Cancer Nurse Specialist in our Melanoma Skin Cancer team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated nurse to join our team, providing high-quality care to patients with Melanoma cancer. The successful candidate will work closely with a multi-professional team to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care and support from diagnosis through to treatment.
">Key Responsibilities- Act as a keyworker for patients throughout their entire cancer pathway, including those across surgical and medical oncology treatment paradigms.
- Represent the Trust and the Lead Cancer Nurse at meetings related to the cancer service framework, particularly those pertaining to Melanoma cancer.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years' experience in oncology, plastics, melanoma/skin cancer as a band 6/7 nurse.
- Counselling Qualification.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
