About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Upper GI diagnostic team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. As a Band 7 nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical advice, emotional support, and managing your own caseload of cancer patients and their pathway of care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Fully complying with the trust's Cancer CNS Standard Operational Policy and working towards meeting cancer nursing ACCEND framework competency.
  • Assisting in the delivery of an expert specialist nursing service for people with suspected cancer and providing specialist nursing advice, clinical assessment, and support to patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals following diagnosis.

The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience pertinent to cancer care, oncology, and/or UGI. They will also possess sound knowledge of Cancer Personalised Care and the NHS Long-term plan.

Estimated Salary: £54,320 - £60,981 per annum
