About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Business Development & Resourcing Team at the National Measurement Laboratory, part of the LGC Group. This is a unique opportunity to support the day-to-day business development activities of the team, while also facilitating the delivery of a major transformational infrastructure project, 'Project Emerald'.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Programmes & Commercial Management team to effectively manage various commercial projects, including project planning, coordination, and reporting.
  • Assist Project Managers with planning and updating project information on the company's ERP system, CRM system, and contract management system.
  • Monitor government procurement portals and calls for tenders to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Organize meetings and take minutes, as well as provide administrative support to the team.
  • Support the delivery of strategic projects across the NL division, including Project Emerald, which involves relocating the NML to a new purpose-designed facility.

Requirements

  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including meticulous record keeping and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including programme/project managers, lab staff, and senior management.
  • Able to multitask and complete work to tight deadlines.

The Business Development & Resourcing Team is responsible for shaping business opportunities, collecting customer feedback, preparing tenders, managing industry accounts, and monitoring financial performance.
