Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing stock, and performing regular cycle counts.
  • Replenish stock efficiently, using manual handling techniques for heavy items and taking care when handling alcohol.
  • Verify best before and expiry dates, and ensure all products are stored in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Ensure displays and shelving are tidy and visually appealing, maintaining a high standard of presentation.
  • Conduct housekeeping activities, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills, working efficiently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Handle stock with care, ensuring its quality and condition are maintained throughout the supply chain.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or related field, preferably within supermarket retail.
