Facilities Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Term Time Teachers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the safe, clean, and welcoming facilities for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the school premises, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and security.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Conduct regular inspections, identify maintenance needs, and coordinate contractors for repairs and renovations.
  • Security Protocols: Develop and implement effective security protocols to safeguard the premises and its occupants.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory and ordering of supplies related to premises maintenance.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.
  • Liaison: Liaise with staff, students, and external stakeholders regarding premises-related matters.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Trade: A Trade would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
