We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Purchasing Assistant Apprentice to join our dynamic team in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of the Procurement Department, you will play a vital role in supporting our supply chain relationships and ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering and transferring calls with a professional manner and taking accurate messages.
  • Assist in fielding and handling purchasing queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Support the Category Managers with daily tasks, including data entry and document management.
  • Raise purchase orders on a daily basis, including credit card purchases, and ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Collate and process credit card invoices, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Perform filing and scanning of documents, maintaining a secure and organized digital and physical filing system.
  • Assist with expediting outstanding purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Order internal use items, including stationery and other supplies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement.
  • Participate in internal product training courses, enhancing your knowledge and skills in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Perform additional duties as required to meet the needs of the business, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
