Job Summary

As a Principal Engineer, Offshore Structures, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the offshore design team, ensuring the successful execution of structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides. Your key responsibilities will include defining technical solutions, reviewing team outputs, and collaborating with various disciplines to meet project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and plan the offshore design team's activities for assigned projects.
  • Perform structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides.
  • Develop technical solutions during various design stages, including feasibility, FEED, and detailed design.
  • Review and approve technical documentation produced by the team.
  • Prepare concept sketches and feasibility studies.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and project management to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and support multiple project teams.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the analysis and design of offshore structures, including substructures and topsides.
  • Proficiency in using FEM models for fixed offshore structures and designing foundation systems.
  • Experience in re-design and assessment of brownfield structures, life extension, and modification.
