Job Title: Senior Structures Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structures Engineer to join our Offshore Structures team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and setting the design approach for offshore structures, as well as executing structural analysis and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and set the design approach for offshore structures, including substructures and topsides.
  • Execute structural analysis for offshore substructures and topsides.
  • Study and define the best technical solutions for offshore structures during various design stages.
  • Ensure compliance with structural design standards and Company HSEQ policies.
  • Collaborate with the team to execute assigned tasks and liaise with other disciplines as required.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation related to Structural Design activities.
  • Review and approve FEED, Tender, and Detailed Engineering performed by Contractors for structural aspects.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in analyses and design of offshore structures, in accordance with ISO1900 series, API RP2A, AISC, DNV codes.
  • Ability to create and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures.
  • Experience in the definition and design of foundation systems, including foundation piles and mud mats.
  • Experience in structural detail design associated with the decommissioning of offshore platforms.
  • Experience in follow-up and review of structural documentation prepared by other Contractors.
  • Experience in design for nonlinear analyses, blast, dropped objects, impact, redundancy, pushover analyses.
  • Experience in redesign and assessment of brownfield structures, life extension, reliability analyses.
  • Be familiar with offshore structural materials, fabrication, and installation aspects.
  • Experience in definition of tender documentation for offshore structures.
  • Degree in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering.
  • Proficient usage of software for design of structures in all project phases.
