About Luton BennettLuton Bennett is a global leader in subsea equipment, renowned for the quality of their products. As an R&D Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the development of innovative solutions, working closely with the Group Products and Technology Director.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will oversee the NPD process, ensuring seamless product design and delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing NPD projects from initiation to completion
- Leading a team of engineers responsible for product design
- Setting and monitoring team objectives
- Day-to-day management of the team, including annual reviews and recruitment
You will also be responsible for overseeing design verification, BOMs, training, and other aspects of product development.
Required Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject, such as electrical engineering, electronics, physics, or maths
- Proven experience in electronic product development, including firmware and software
- Effective project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
