We are seeking an experienced Programme and Project Manager to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority. As a Programme and Project Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects from our portfolio, while providing line management for other project professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Line manage, coach and mentor project delivery and change management professionals
- Deliver the programme/project in line with the NHSBSA Programme and Project Management Frameworks and internal and external assurance requirements
- Manage project delivery professionals against competency frameworks as appropriate, supporting personal training and development plans as required
- Identify and manage stakeholder relationships and highlight need for senior level support
- Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with, and influence, senior stakeholders
- Resilient and determined, with strong negotiation skills and ability to constructively challenge
- Ability to communicate sensitive or contentious information appropriately
- Hybrid working - offering flexibility to work predominantly from home with the opportunity to be office based should you prefer, or if business needs require it
