Expert Cardiac Nurse Wanted for ACHD Care

We are seeking an experienced and skilled cardiac nurse to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) at Manchester Royal Infirmary. This is a great opportunity to work with a supra-regional service covering the North West of England, North Wales, and Isle of Man.

The successful candidate will work across Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust sites, including outpatient clinics and providing expert advice to hospitals within the trust. Additionally, they will have honorary contract with the level 1 ACHD surgical centre based at Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital and be required to work across the hospitals in the North West Congenital Heart Disease Partnership.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of £36,841 - £44,504 per annum, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have cardiac experience and be committed to delivering high-quality patient-focused care with pride and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the care of ACHD patients across the ACHD North West Network
  • Provide outpatient clinics and expert ACHD advice to hospitals within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust
  • Work with the level 1 ACHD surgical centre based at Liverpool Heart and Chest hospital
  • Collaborate with the North West Congenital Heart Disease Partnership
